I did not directly seek permission, but since the school sends out Internate Usage permission slips, I figured that would cover it. I have had to help set up email accounts on yahoo for those students that did not have one. Are you thinking of making one? I had it blocked for sign up, but have now put the page on public view of first page only. It is a little different than the AVID ning page. Check it out at www.ortizlibrary.ning.com
